Could YNW Melly Be Out by December? The Streets Are Talking

YNW Melly, born Jamell Demons, has been incarcerated since February 2019, awaiting retrial for double murder charges. His retrial is scheduled for September 10, 2025, with a pretrial meeting set for December 5, 2024.

In November 2024, Melly filed a lawsuit against the Broward County Sheriff's Office, alleging unconstitutional treatment, including prolonged isolation and restricted communication with his family and legal counsel. U.S. District Judge Melissa Damian has ordered the Sheriff's Office to respond by December 6, 2024, justifying Melly's current detention conditions. Failure to provide a satisfactory explanation could lead to his release on bond pending trial.

Therefore, while Melly's retrial is not until late 2025, he could be released on bond in December 2024, depending on the court's assessment of his detention conditions.

Young Thug and Gunna’s Brotherhood in Question

Alright, SGTV fam, here’s the rundown. Young Thug just threw some major shade at Gunna, calling him out with a since-deleted post: “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my g.” Now, that’s the kind of line that makes you stop scrolling.

If you’ve been following these two, you know Thug and Gunna were thick as thieves. They came up together, made bangers together, and flew the YSL flag high. But after that RICO mess, with Gunna taking a plea, it seems the bond’s got some cracks. Thug ain’t about that “pretend everything’s good for the ‘Gram” vibe, and he let it be known.
